Triumpher Contracting Steel Structure Project of the sorting center of Xinhua Bookstore in Hubei Province

In the past few days, Triumpher Steel Construction Group contracts the sorting center of XInhua Bookstore in Hubei Province, with the total amount of steel to be used reaching about 7,000 tons.

The constructing project of the sorting center of Hubei Xihua Bookstore is located in the citied industrial zone, St Hanzheng, Gutian 2nd Rd, Chukou District, Wuhan City. The total area of this construction covers 48,268 square meters. This project includes the New Book Sorting Center, the ancillary facilities like Power Supply and Distribution inside the New Plant, and Water Supply and Drainage etc., and Roads and parking Lots, new facilities of books and periodicals automation sort, Warehousing and Distribution, Computation information management and storing facilities etc. The total investment is about RMB 263,000,000 yuan.

The sorting center of Hubei Xinhua Bookstore has 3 layers, with the amount of steel used 7,000 tons. Project structure patterns are as follows: adopt steel frame structure system for ground two floors, portal type steel frame structure system fro the third floor, adopt on-site casting reinforced concrete in floor slab, profiled steel sheet for internal wall and roof, aero-concrete artificial brick fro external wall. 29.1m level for the highest point of the structure, the plane layout of the structure is in rectangle, among which, the axis length of Axes 1~15 is 159m, column distances are in the two forms of 12m and 11m; the axis length of Axes A~L is 110m, column distance is 11m. Steel structures are mainly H-shaped steel columns and I-steel beams, with the biggest steel plate thickness 60mm. The connection among steel columns adopts full-penetration welding.

 

Structure patterns of this project have steel frame structure system, portal type steel frame structure system, reinforced concrete etc., adopting profiled steel plates for external wall and roof, so structure system are complicated. Therefore, it is essential to produce some special connecting joints among components. To ensure the angle precision of every adjacent component, set and adopt special clamping fixtures for related components when manufacturing them in plants, and do plant pre-assembly before leaving the plants. In the meantime, this project also has the following features and difficulties: complicated requirements to welding procedure for thick plates, high precision in component size and drilling, complicated coordinated work, higher requirements to installing precision and measurement of components etc.
